George Rehab provides multi-disciplinary rehabilitation services in a timely and cost-effective manner that optimizes client recovery and success.
We provide community-based rehabilitation support services for individuals with complex orthopedic injuries, spinal cord injuries, and/or acquired brain injury.
Founder/Owner, Therapist, Kinesiologist, BHK, CK
Casey George is the owner, principal Rehabilitation Therapist, and certified Kinesiologist. Casey has over ten years of experience providing physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, and psychology directed support to clients with acquired brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and complex orthopedic injuries. He specializes in implementing rehabilitation goals in a community context under the direction and supervision of therapists/specialists.
Casey actively liaises with specialists/therapists to participate in the development of the program, rehabilitation, and goal plans. He is a member in good standing with the Ontario Kinesiology Association and College of Kinesiologists of Ontario. He is a graduate of the University of Windsor, Bachelor of Human Kinetics, Honours Movement Science program, and also attained a Minor in Psychology. He regularly attends academic and professional development courses to ensure best practice and innovative service delivery. Casey has completed Level 1 and Level 2 training courses in Acquired Brain Injury through the Ontario Brain Injury Association.
Casey is currently practicing as a community-based Rehabilitation Therapist and provides therapy and support services in Barrie and the surrounding area. His extensive knowledge of multi-disciplinary rehabilitation practices enables him to collaborate effectively with his fellow professionals to maximize client outcomes.
As a Certified Kinesiologist, Casey also works with clients to implement their home and/or community-based exercise programs, including pool therapy programs. He is also a certified member of the Reflexology Association of Canada and can integrate reflexology treatment into his practice as appropriate.
